Have you tried Billings as your time billing software? As much as folks think I might be a shill for Marketcircle, I am not. I just like pleasant user experiences that make using software fun. My previous system was using GrandTotal and TimeLog. However, I found the two cumbersome when working with Daylite and really needed seamless integration that Billings 3 provides.
If you want some recent reviews of Billings 3 and GrandTotal/TimeLog, I recommend reading these to help you determine the right invoicing software for your small business needs.
One advantage of the GrandTotal/TimeLog combo is that both have companion iPhone applications. You can get GrandTotal here and TimeLog here. Both sync with their respective desktop counterparts. I have heard that the folks at Marketcircle will be releasing a version of Billings on the iPhone. That will be very positive news for users of this great application.
Last point to mention is pricing: Billings 3 is $39.99. The TimeLog/GrandTotal combo + iPhone apps is about $94. So, consider that in your decision.
Ok, off to send some invoices…
This coming Wednesday evening (11/18), I will be presenting the Daylite Productivity Suite + Daylite Touch at the Altamonte Springs Apple Store. For more information, here are some links:

For the past few weeks, I have been taking a long look at how I am managing the business. For the most part, things are going well and I have been blessed with very reasonable clients. However, I think there are steps I must take to better improve the process in which I work with my clients.
That being said, expect M Group 2.0 to happen sometime in late 2009/early 2010. Sit tight, because great things are about to happen…
It’s been a busy couple of weeks since my last post. Most of the work has been with two new clients for Daylite as well as some writing for TheAppleBlog. Here is a link to that article:

I also had the fortune to purchase the new Apple Magic Mouse. I must say, it is a very nice tool and I am thankful to have replaced the previous three-year old wireless “Mighty Mouse.” I do not miss the old mouse. The rollerball was inconsistent and the right-click was wrong at least 20% of the time. I highly recommend folks to look at the new mouse if you are in the market.
For those running Twitter, I encourage you to utilize the new Lists feature. It’s very easy to setup and it appears to be quite useful. I do hope that Loren over at Atebits gets his two Tweetie apps updated for us to leverage this new functionality.
I have also posted one new client Case Study from Nectar Communications. Please take a read here.
